Receiving in Relaxation

The Fertility Massage supports those with fertility intentions, menstrual discomfort, hormonal fluctuations, and cycle irregularities. It is also used to improve sperm quality in men. The goal of the session is to:

Process

During the Fertility Massage following Birgit Zart’s method, the abdomen and back are gently massaged using an exquisite selection of essential oils. Acupressure points of the hormone glands are also included.

Frequency:
A cycle of six fertility massages is recommended. For assisted reproduction, the best timing is prior to the procedure.

This application supports women after childbirth by guiding them with the accompaniment of various plants and the experience of being held, allowing them to let go and fully return to themselves. When a woman is fully held, she can release and blossom into the new phase of mother- and womanhood.

During a session:

• The time of opening, receiving, and giving birth is honored.

• Processes of pregnancy and birth may conclude on physical, cellular, and energetic levels, and the new beginning is celebrated.

Background:
This session is inspired by the Andean tradition and is designed for women after childbirth. I had the privilege of learning this practice from knowledgeable women in a small village in the Peruvian Andes. It draws on this tradition and has been adapted, with guidance from the soul level, to respect the natural resources and gifts available in European contexts.

According to the Andean tradition, women are ceremonially supported in the postpartum period to fully return to themselves. The time of conception, carrying the child within, and being two-in-one is over. The time of being two in the outer world has begun. This session helps close the phase of opening, receiving, and giving birth, supporting processes of completion and celebration on physical, cellular, and energetic levels. You are no longer a girl—you are now a woman and a mother.

This kind of ritual exists in similar forms worldwide. It is called Closing of the Bones or a Closing Ceremony in many cultures. Other terms include Waltaska, Fachada, and Rebozo.

Process:
This session takes place at your home with the support of another trusted person of your choice. All soul aspects are invited to take their rightful place, accompanied by drumming. After a herbal cleansing, the body is gently oiled while privacy and intimacy are fully respected. At the end, you are wrapped in warm blankets, similar to swaddling. Being held in this way allows you to rest for several hours. Nursing is possible at any time during the session.

For women who gave birth some time ago, the session can also take place in my practice. You may choose between this session and the Woman’s Blessing.

This session is also suitable after the birth of a star child, in which case the sequence focuses first on releasing, joy, and blessing, followed by this session.

Being held as a man is the theme of this session.

This application can support men in revisiting and transforming outdated patterns, such as the little boy who felt responsible for caring for or pleasing his mother, or who had to constantly define himself through boundaries—often repeated in relationships with women or, in homosexual relationships, with men. The session guides you into being a man on a healed and integrated level.

Issues around being nurtured and fully supported can also be healed here.

Being held is the foundation for surrender and letting go. This session is therefore suitable for women who want to practice and experience surrender primarily to themselves and to life, within a held and safe space. Arriving in the Here and Now, Developing Strong Roots

This session for children can be received from birth up to six years old.
It helps restore balance and bring healing order.

In my experience, it can support nonverbal communication and strengthen the bond between parent and child. Children from 0 to 5 bring great gifts into this world and remind us of the magic inherent in every beginning. If these early stages—or later transitions from infancy to school—are challenging, this session can provide tangible support for arriving fully in the here and now and developing strong roots.

It harmonizes and strengthens all physical, emotional, and mental levels, optimizing the necessary processes in the “human system,” restoring balance, and bringing healing order.

Process:

The session is performed very gently, calmly, and lovingly, free of pressure, and, if needed, in the presence of a caregiver. A carefully diluted blend of eleven essential oils is applied with full respect for the child’s boundaries across the entire body. The child is free to move and play, and, depending on age and motivation, may also participate. The session is rounded off with a precious stone, which accompanies the child in daily life.
